The Worshipful Company of Masons (The Masons Company) is dedicated to its programme of training in the use of natural stone for construction purposes and will seek to extend the present level of student sponsorship both in volume and levels of skills to be attained. The Company will continue to promote the use of natural stone in construction projects and the preservation of our stone built environment. Key to this promotion are The Natural Stone Craft Awards held every four years to encourage the use of stone in London.
Suitable projects may also be undertaken jointly with other Livery Companies concerned with construction and of a general charitable nature.
In common with other Liveries of the City of London the Company will maintain its ancient traditions and continue to take its due part in the governance of the City of London.
